On July 4th 2020 at 10:32AM, the Holy Spirit spoke to Pastor Chris & Briana to come & launch the River Church of Kansas City. It was such an unusual encounter with the Lord because neither of them had ever been to Kansas City. They both knew deep down in their heart it was God speaking. The Lord gave clear instructions to launch a last days, on fire, word & spirit filled church that will not bow its knee to the world or religion & tradition. A church that is on the move winning souls and making disciples.

Pastor Chris & Briana are graduates from the River University where they were trained & ordained in the ministry under Drs. Rodney & Adonica Howard-Browne. It was there that God birthed their call & ministry. Pastor Chris & Briana are carriers of the fires of revival & have a sincere passion to see Kansas City transformed by the power of God.
